Residence Capobianco is like a large Tuscan villa overlooking the sea, elegant yet informal, just a few minutes from the fine old centre of the island of Elba’s capital and the ferry terminal.
You will enjoy hospitality well away from the traffic and have only to walk down a few steps to enjoy the luxury of life at a slower pace on one of the island of Elba’s loveliest beaches, relaxing but knowing full amenities are just a few minutes away in Portoferraio.
The ten apartments, a short walk from the beach, consist of studio and one and two-bedroom types and are able to accommodate up to 6 people. Here you can appreciate the island of Elba to the full; each one has its own view, of sea and sky, in the contemporary luxury of simple, courteous hospitality.
We are one of the few tourist facilities overlooking the Scoglietto marine protected area, a conservation zone since 1971 and the diving site of choice of keen divers, on an island which belongs to the UNESCO Tuscan Island Biosphere Reserve, in the Tuscan Archipelago National Park.
Portoferraio, just three minutes’ drive away, is the island’s capital, an impregnable fortress, rich in historic remains that recall the Etruscans, the Romans, the Medici and Napoleon, a focal point and historic centre and an ideal holiday location all year round, the starting-point of itineraries and trails that cross Elba in all directions.
